How to become a volunteer

At Satisfy volunteers are essential to helping us carry out the work that we do. Volunteers are at the very heart of our organisation, making a direct difference to our local community.

If you have a couple of hours spare on a weekday morning, we would love to hear from you. Volunteers either work directly with our driver collecting food from our food donors, or within small teams to sort and weigh food at our premises to make the food ready for our recipient organisations to collect.

Volunteering with Satisfy is physical, and those interested should be happy with lifting and moving boxes. If this sounds like something you would like to get involved with please contact us via the button below!

I have been involved with many corporate, volunteering and community groups over the years and your efforts are standout in making people feel valued.

Through our collaboration with Food Secure North Canterbury we get the opportunity to harvest fruit and vegetables from local orchards and crops. We are always looking to grow our bank of Harvest Volunteers to help with fruit picking when the opportunities become available!

No time to volunteer?

If you do not have time to give please consider supporting us by making a one-off or regular donation.  As with all charities we are dependent on grants and donations to fund our day to day costs.  We therefore appreciate whatever level of support you are able to offer us since every little bit makes a difference!
